Marcus Cole

Marcus Cole grew up on the east side of Detroit, raised on a steady diet of Marvin Gaye, Al Green, and the sounds drifting from his grandmother's record player. By 16 he was singing at church. By 20 he was headlining local venues.

His debut EP 'East Side Soul' dropped in 2024 to critical acclaim across Detroit's music community, earning him a spot on the Detroit City Sound roster and a reputation as one of the most compelling live performers in the city.

Marcus writes every word himself. His music is a conversation between where he came from and where he's going — raw, honest, and undeniably Detroit.
