The Mission
A New Chapter for the Motor City
Detroit gave the world Motown. It gave the world techno. It gave the world some of the most iconic sounds in music history. And it's not done.
Detroit City Sound was founded to shine a light on the next generation — the artists grinding in studios on the east side, performing at small venues downtown, building something real without a major label behind them.
We are a platform, a community, and a megaphone. We discover talent, promote shows, and connect artists with the fans and industry professionals who need to hear them.
